Short Blogging Break

Hello everyone, I just wanted to take a moment and let you all know that I will be taking a short blogging break for about a month. I will not be posting over the next month, but I hope to stop by and visit the blogs which I normally visit during this time. I am in need of a little time for refreshment and devote some time elsewhere. I appreciate all you who visit my blog and I am looking forward to returning in August.
May God bless each of you,
Ken

  12. Thank you child of God, I appreciate your prayers. When I went on break, I had no plans of staying gone this long, but I guess I was more burnt out that I realized. For me, writing is a difficult thing to do. I use to spend two evenings putting together one of my short posts. My wife is encouraging me to develop my photography skills, which is something I do enjoy. I do a descent job, and with some work, I could do quite well. She is convinced, if I applied myself, I could earn a second income through it. I believe it would take some training and better equipment, but I could do it. I am also thinking and praying as to how I could use photography to reach the lost with the message of Jesus. One thing I am praying about relating to this blog, is taking a picture and inserting a Bible verse, like you do. I have been inspired by you and your photos on your blog which you do this with. Then maybe at times short posts, like a sentence or two long and at other times u-tube videos. And other times, maybe quotes. I would be interested in hearing what you have to say in response to this. I appreciate you coming and leaving your comment and may God bless you. Ken

    1. Hi Ken, wondered where you've been and if your coming back...I read your ideas in your reply to Child Of God...and I think it sounds like a great idea! Your wife is a wise woman...you should do what you enjoy...everyone is different, and sometimes it just takes trying different blogging styles to see what fits you best. It never hurts to change things up a bit...a little bit of everything can be fun!
      God bless~Lisa

  13. Hi Ken,
    :)
I know exactly how you feel about writing and the trouble trying to express what is inside. Just so you know, when you do get those words onto paper they are powerful and really hit home. Great job!!

I think it is an amazing idea to use your pictures and put verses on them. Sometimes I can only express myself in pictures and from reading what you have shared with how your wife believes your pictures are really good, then maybe you would be able to reach more people with the word God has given you.

Go for it!! I am sure you would do an amazing job and you could make little Scripture verse magnets with your pictures on them. I have a few of these on my fridge and totally love them and wish I had more.

Whatever avenue you take I know it will be good because you love and adore Father so much that His light will shine through your work. I know I really would love to see your blog up and going again in whatever fashion you choose.

    Blessings brother,
