I Am Back

When I took a break last summer, I intended to be right back in a month. However, I did not realize how burnt out I was. Also, I just did not feel led to write. Before God told me to, so I did. I am not a writer or a theologian, so posting one short post world consume me for two days. This was just too much. Going forward I plan to make some changes. One thing I have always enjoyed was photography. I consider myself to be a good snapshot photographer who comes out with some good pictures. Recently I have been applying myself to going to the next level and see where it takes me. My plan is to add scripture to photos and make just a brief statement concerning the scripture. I may share something that struck me during a sermon, or what I read in a book. Most of the time it will be my own thoughts. What ever I write, will be brief. It is my prayer that God uses this site to bless my brothers and sisters in Christ along with hopefully some who do not know Jesus will come and their hearts be softened. I look forward to visiting the blogs which I have followed in the past and reconnecting with my blogger friends. May God bless you all.

  3. Lovely to see you back Ken, I love your picture and as for the scripture? 'The word of God cannot go out and return void to Him.' I have just been given a different camera from my daughter in law, and I have to USE IT as I love photograph, and my son is a brilliant photographer. Now the two of you have encouraged me to do what I want to do.
    God bless you

  4. Glad that your Blog ministry is on the air and blessing people. Even though you are not a professional writer or professional theologian, yet you are a professing Christian writer, studying and professing what you see and learn about God ("Theos" in Greek) that others may know and understand, so you are a theologian making a profession by definition. I want to hear on this "Web Log", what you have to say about this Father God that we love and serve. Thank you for being a blessing to use all.

    1. Thank you Brian for your comment. Most definitely this blog will continue to be all about Jesus. As for the photography, they will be photos with bible verses written on them. Then I will write something leading people to look to God. I want believers to come and be encouraged in the Lord. I am hoping unbelievers will find my photos through image searches, when they look, they see God's Word. Like Brenda shared above, His word does not come back to Him void. I also think if the passage "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Basically the changes in my blog will be photos with Scripture written on them instead of just photos; and my writing will be shorter in length. I want short, but impactful words which brings glory to Jesus. Thank you and God bless

  6. Welcome back Ken!
So glad to see you are planning to use your photography to blog...God has indeed blessed you with a skill that can be used to share the beauty of His creation, and the message of salvation! I have done a few photos with scriptures on them...I love doing that...It is actually quite fun to pair up a nice photo with a relevant verse...and it keeps things simple.
You have always been a good blogger, so I am looking forward to whatever you have to share on here.
~God bless you, My friend~ Lisa
