Who can say,
“I have made my heart clean,
I am pure from my sin”?
I am pure from my sin”?
(Proverbs 20:9 NKJV)
Thank God for Jesus because I cannot cleanse myself of my sins. Everyday more sins would be added to my account, except Jesus washed them away. I try to be a “good person,” except I fail. I try to do what is right, but I find myself doing what is wrong. Jesus did not die to give me a license to sin, but out of gratitude, I will live to bring glory to His name. Of my own power, I cannot enter into heaven, but Jesus made a way.
Amen to that.
ReplyDeletePowerful message Ken! We want to do good, but the flesh continues to serve sin. How blessed we are to have received HIS wonderful and amazing grace and move forward! :)
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your prayers for my friend! :) Blessings and hugs,

Well, one thing's for sure---us Christians are not gonna worry one bit about being weak human beings. I do my best, give it to God and let Him take care of me. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteAmen. Thank God for Jesus!
ReplyDeleteThat is a good scripture from proverbs and a sober reminder of how we all fall short of the glory of God.
Thank the Lord Jesus has given us grace.

Hi Ken,
ReplyDeleteThe gift God has given us is just too wonderful for words. I'm with you on this sin thing. Where would we be without the continuous cleansing blood of Jesus.
Blessings brother,
